CAIED hosted the Arizona Native Assets Coalition July 19-20. The Coalition consists of Arizona tribes, Native non-profit organizations, state agencies and other partner organizations working together to promote the development of asset building and financial education programs and policy for Native people at the tribal, state, and federal level.
The coalition is intent on assisting tribal communities in increasing Tribal Individual Development Accounts. These accounts provide matching funds that can be used for Higher Education Scholarships, down payments for homes, and start-up businesses.
